IVF treatments can be performed at intervals of two menstrual cycles. However, in women of advanced age, it may be appropriate to evaluate each cycle by assessing ovarian follicular capacity on the second day of menstruation. Although there is no strict upper limit for the number of IVF attempts, positive results are generally achieved within the first four treatment cycles.
