What Are the First Tests Performed in Couples Without Children?

The first tests to be requested for couples who want to have children are semen analysis, TSH and prolactin in the woman, sometimes AMH and a uterine film (HSG, hysterosalpingography). If the woman has polycystic ovary syndrome, tests for insulin resistance may be requested. If there are other diseases in the woman or man accompanying infertility, it would be appropriate to consult with the relevant specialist physician.
