Egg freezing is the process of stimulating the ovaries, collecting the eggs under anesthesia, and freezing the retrieved eggs for future use. While this method is generally recommended before chemotherapy in cancer cases, in recent years it has also become possible for single women with a family history of early menopause or those with low ovarian reserve. Later, it is possible to thaw the frozen eggs, fertilize them through IVF, and achieve pregnancy with the resulting embryos.
